Easter celebrations are over and now we are appreciating our Saviour's Ascension. That was when (about 40 days after His crucifixion and resurrection (circa 38 AD)) Jesus' body was changed (transfigured) and lifted up to God in God's Pleasure and Glory.
The Hebrew Name of God: El Hakabod (prounced L kaaw-BODE) means "The Glory of God!" When people celebrate the ascension of Jesus Christ, we read the two recorded instanceses of His transfiguration in the Holy Bible in the books of Matthew (17:1-8), Mark (9:2-8), Luke (9:28-36) and meditate upon God's words. And at the same time we ask God for us to love Him more and to give us the ability to do His will; to please Him and showforth Jesus Christ. We glory in each other and our El Hakabod!
